NATURAL DEODORANT AND SHAMPOO BARS

I hear time and time again about what a struggle it is to find natural beauty products -- that actually work -- in Istanbul. This is why I strive to teach people how to make their own products and/or introduce them to new brands that are not normally available in Turkey. I happen to have some extra jars and bars of two such products: Schmidt's Natural Deodorant and Argan Oil Shampoo Bars by Camamu Soap. For more detailed descriptions of the products, see below:

Schmidt's Natural Deodorant comes in a cream form. You apply a pea sized amount to your underarms, each morning. It may be a different application than you are used to, but it is natural, safe and effective. I have used this brand every day for the past several months and am still not out of the jar. I have .5 oz jars in the following scents: Lavender + Sage; Bergamot + Lime; Cedarwood + Juniper; Ylang-Ylang + Calendula; and Fragrance-Free.

I started using shampoo bars a few months ago and have never looked back. I explain what shampoo bars are, and review a few of my favorities, in a past video, which can be found here. One of my favorites is the Argan Horsetail Shampoo bar from Camamu Soap. It is handmade from scratch using olive, coconut and castor oils; shea butter; and sweet almond, apricot kernel, avocado and argan oils. They also add organic horsetail and essential oils. It is 100% natural, vegan and gluten-free. 2 oz bars are available.
